First Day in Auckland

Today we went to an aquarium in Auckland! We saw manti rays, sharks, fish, turtles, and penguins. Mom and Dad made us do homework first even though we were tired from our 14 hour flight. Here are some cool pictures!

  1. Hi from grade six Paden & Colton!
It is 9am and we were just looking at your pics.
Romilly remembers the red truck very well and was filling us in on how close you get to the animals.

Everyone is very concerned for Colton's safety after his vicious shark swallowing incident - Paden, what a strong big brother you are to have saved him!!

Claire wants to know what the weather is like? We are still really warm, but windy. Claudia is concerned about your flight - was it bumpy??

We are talking about how to ask you "deep questions" and Mrs Corbett is driving us crazy....

    More questions later-
    miss you!

  3. Well sounds like you're having quite a time! No the plane ride wasn't bumpy. The weather is fine here it rained a little but the temperature is usually in the low 20's. Sounds like it's pretty nice there. Hope you guys are having a great time over there. HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY IMAAN!

  4. This blog stuff is new to me. Are your Mom and Dad letting you guys hold the camera. I would like to see some pictures of them bungee jumping, swooping or milking a cow.

  5. Okay, that worked. This is really cool. Seeing the fun you are having, I understand why you have to do school work first thing in the morning. Have a little fun for me!

  6. Hey guys,it's Alex & Ronnie.
Did Colton get a broken bone or injured body part from that shark? Good thing you saved him - just wondering. How are you guys doing on your vacation? That octopus was cool. We will write to you later. Alex
